Roof bars 97 k1500 z71 ext cab

I am looking for a solution to add roof bars for on top of my cab. Want to add a basket without drilling holes. I did lookup Yakima roof bars and they say to use q24 clips with q towers and 56" bars. I was wondering if anyone has done or tried this? My big concern is the rear of cab as there is no doors or gutters.
