I run 2" spacers on the back of my k2500. I drive a lot and tow some and have never had an issue. I just make sure they are properly torqued.

From what I've heard over the years hub-centric spacers are fine but the lug-centric spacers aren't supposed to be used if you do a lot of towing or carry heavy loads. I'm not knocking anyone that uses the lug-centric type just stating what I've heard.
