double cardan isnt the least bit necesary on a 6" ifs lift front shaft. not that much angle there, it can still operate properly with just a single joint and the suspension doesnt cycle the u joint to warrant with either.

    Yea here's the link. http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forum/showthread.php?304767-what-are-torsion-bar-relocators

Also found a grainy picture of an instruction sheet that says they should have an inward tilt angle at ride height of 70-85 degrees. After "measuring" the relocator from pictures it appears the hex protrusion only sticks out around 6". The pvc spacer is around 3". Taken from install instructions "To make installation easier use the pvc pipe spacers around the hex bar making sure the suspension can move freely without any interference. Trim or cut the pvc spacer as much as possible while maintaining the recommended clearance 1/8-3/16" from lift kit sub frame and bolts." Also says something about 6.5-8" sub frame lift kits may need to modify the tranny cross-member, can't really read the rest. So it may be possible to just increase the 5" height to whatever size lift you have to avoid this extra step.

According to rough country "double cardan style CV drive shaft is necessary for vehicles equipped with Autotrac. May also be necessary on Non-Autotrac models if regularly driven in 4WD over 35 MPH." "After lifting many full sized vehicles a CV (Double Cardan) drive shaft is a good choice to eliminate vibration issues and provide the longest lasting drive shaft."

auto trac np246 case yes due to the slip design, np241 and 243 on a stock drop lift truck, probably not, the front diff doesnt cycle, as long as your within angle (meaning the 10 "kits could make for a hairy conflict to this statement) its not necesary, ill agree to this though, you should always have driveshafts remade when changing anything driveline or height related to an extent.

if people were that worried about driveline vibrations and joints running true then tapered blocks wouldnt be a thing

I reached out to Jeremiah at realift via email and he got back with me today. He indicated that the company is currently in start up mode and they hope to start taking orders on March 1st. I am assuming though SAMs off-road again.

Hopefully he is able to get things up and going!!
