Rcx lift oil change mess

I've never really cared about the mess I've made because I've always been in a shop, but changing oil at home now I dont want an oil stain in my garage or driveway... Does anyone have any tricks, other than dropping the rcx skid plate, to make oil changes better? 97k1500 5.7 auto with rcx 4”

I don't have the rcx lift so not sure what your dealing with... got a pic. Is it the oil filter or actually draining the oil that causing the issue? Either way, can you just divert it with a piece of folded cardboard or something?

I think i've heard a frisbee with a notch cut out where you want it to divert the oil, or one of these with a hose attached http://www.fumotousa.com/parts.php?partname=F107N&partnumber=34
