rack and pinion...?

Ive got access to an 05 rack and pinion, and was wondering if I bolt it up would the stock pump work? I went to Autozone and asked to see a 98(that's what year I have) power steering pump and an 05 steering pump and they are the same part number. So has any1 done this? Or researched it more than I have? Thanks

The dealership said an 05 has 2000-2500 psi and a 98 is said to have 1500-2000. I called "no limit" and they use the same type of rack for their kits, but they didn't know if my pump would work or not. I called 2 other companies, same results

A lot of guys do LS swaps and they use the stock 400 lines with the LS (800) pump.
