I was pretty much self taught. I had 3 years of automotive classes in High School where I got some of the basics, and even went to a Ford/AAA Skills USA competition and won State and went to Nationals. But most stuff, especially the fabrication, I learned on my own.

your like my twin, USA skills for the win!

Well, I didn't post as soon, but I got it all done.

First off, here a video of the LED pods I got. Vivid Light Bars color changing pods. They are White and Amber and they can strobe also. So now I got some hidden emergency lights.

Tanks goodness for the crane. Hard to pick up the bumper and get the bolt holes lined up right.

And today, I went and picked up another Jeep. 1991 Cherokee Laredo. Finally got to test all the work I did to make this thing tow good. It did great I have to say.

ill be honest, i hate the bumper, doesnt match everything youve done so far, sticks out too far and its just chunky.

I somewhat agree, at some point I'm taking the wings off and angling them in more. I'm trying to go for the Warn Classic bumper look, the CAD drawing just didn't turn out like I thought it would, plus I thought the front of the truck was just one angle off the center but there is another one under the headlights I didn't account for in the CAD drawing. As of rought now I'm stuck to what it looked like in the cad drawing, but later on after I graduate, I can change it.

Again, not too much of an update. But I did get some decals for the truck from Vinyl Sickness.

Got to get some funds together before I can really do anything else.

I think I got a front driver side drop Dana 60 lined up for my SAS though, if I can get it, and get it cheap, I'll skip going 1/2 ton and go to 1 tons right out the bat. Just have to sell my Anthems and get new 8 lug versions when the time comes.

Well, the parts have started coming together. Just picked up a High Pinion Dana 44 out of a 1979 Ford F-250. It has 4.10 gears and it already has the flat top knuckles (just needs the passenger side drilled/threaded). It'll still be a while before the install starts since I still need all the brackets and stuff, but it's coming together.

It came with shock hoops and some of the brackets, but I might not be able to use the brackets since they are for a 4x4. Depending on the construction of them though they can work on the 2wd frames but I would have to check. Also I'm missing the front frame horn brackets. It also has some nice Mile Marker locking hubs. I will need to get some calipers though, that's basically the only thing missing.
