Would anyone know of a good way of installing some oh crap handles on a regular cab? I got some maroon ones from a Tahoe and I was wondering if a sheet metal screw would be able to hold the weight of me or anyone Really leaning on them. I was considering using one of those nut cert type deals to be able the run a small bolt of some sort .I also cut off the metal extension on the handles due to my truck not having the proper layout for a handle, just planning on having it flush with the headliner and having it tight . It's a 91 if that matters .

I wouldn't trust a sheet metal screw, you can see in the pic without a headliner where those handles mount on the pillar. You're likely missing an entire bracket.
