I’m working on finishing up the sas on my 93 ECSB and I’m needing a transfer case. I’m running 79 Chevy Dana 44 front axle, with TH400 trans. I have a NP203 that has a part time kit on it, and a np208. I wanted to find the NP241c passenger side drop case, but they are scarce in Houston, and the few places that do have them are asking close to 2k.
So my choices are stick with the 203 or the 208. I plan on rebuilding either one I put in, but which case is stronger? And what can I expect from either case?
