P0785 4L60E 98' Chevy Cheyenne 1500

After driving a few miles and coming to a complete stop, an SES code will pop up (P0785). Then after driving from the complete stop it will be a hard shift once, and "limp home" mode the rest of the way. If i clear the code right away, then there will be zero trouble!! I replaced the 3-2 solenoid, and the tps, and the trans filter/fluid. What's going on??

Here are the diagnostics for that code on a 1998 K1500 with the 4l60e. Maybe it will help, but it looks like some kind of jumper harness (Kent Moore J-39775) may be needed for some of it.
