Just bought a 98 C1500 W/T. Did'nt run but I got it really cheap($500) and the body/interior is really clean. Florida truck with no rust. Previous owner says he tried removing the aftermarket alarm system and now it wont even crank. Steering column is torn apart and wires are hanging everywhere. Get it home and start sorting out the wiring. It now cranks, fuel pump cycles with the key etc.. but not getting spark. Lucky to have a 99 Astro for reference, which surprisingly is very similar. Frustrating. Sorry for the rant.

The passlock just needed to be reset. Very simple process and it now runs. Converter seems plugged as it idles great but wont rev. Doing a major tune up today and fuel filter,10 gals of fresh gas.
