PYO's the really common NBS 16, I've got a set with the matching cap on my 3/4 Suburban. I've seen the GMC cap also. My problem is they are 6.5" wide and so a 265 widest tire is the widest most say you should run.

I'm digging the look of NBS wheels on OBS trucks. Would these 285/70/R17 take off tires and rims from a newer Silverado fit on my '99 K1500? I'm currently rolling the stock rims with 265/75/R16s.

Lug pattern is the same, you should be able to run them. I'd crank up an inch or so, I think the 17s and 285s would rub a little.

I run 285/75 R 16s on my PYOs, and face no issues.

No rubbing, no crank on torsion bar needed.
Something so simple does worlds to clean up and modernize these trucks.

Can you just bolt the tires on the truck or do to have to mod the truck?
