The bumper mount's to the frame in the same place... :think: I'm going to put a receiver hitch on my truck solely so that I can leave a hitch in it.

sorry to revive an old thread but i gotta say hes right with the physics. the reason getting hit in the bumper wont hurt the frame as bad is because the bumper is mounted almost straight in line with the frame. in the case of a receiver hitch, it mounts lower than the frame, therefore creating leverage which will be more prone to bending the rear frame rails down or pushing the humps through. (trust me on this one, its coming from a demo derby guy lol)
