white_trash88, a set of headers and a decent dual setup will make a world of difference.

When I first started tinkering with my exhaust, I first just cut off the stock muffler. Later I put on long tube headers with about 16" of 2.5" ID pipe afterwards with turndowns. (Stupid Loud)

What I have now, and what I really enjoy is still dual, but my buddy and I fabbed up the entire exhaust that exits just in front of the rear axle, with two 18" glasspacks and an X-pipe as well

How about cut outs?

But really, why do you need more loud?

I love the v8 sound and i like to hear it with my windows up. As it sits even with the 10 series its not very loud.

You've got to be one of only a handful of people that thinks straight stock cam TBI/Vortec engines sound good.
