I wanted one just like that for my S10, but couldn't justify the cost, so I just modified the stock handle/knob.....

Haha yeah. How you like that T-Handle. Thought about getting one but not sure.

I liked it at first, but eventually ended up ditching it for a stock 80's S10 shifter after a few months

Anybody ever had a Hurst shifter in their truck? It's pretty kick-ass.

What model shifter is that? Direct swap?

sorry guys but the old mirrors look way better than the newer style. at least they're real metal.

I don't necessarily think one style looks better than the other, but if I do bother changing them, I'll keep the same style but in chrome instead of black.

I didn't install that shifter. I the PO did. But it is a CORE shifter, they manufacture and sell Hurst products that Hurst doesn't make anymore. If you go on their website it tells you all about it.

The seat is pretty rough over by the driver's side. I'm not a big fan of vinyl seats anyway, so I'm going to look for a tan cloth bench seat...

I've decided on wheels, I'll be ordering Pro Comp 1069's (16x8) here soon...

Doors still need a little goo gone...

OEM style flares ready to go on. Also bought some in-channel AVS vent shades. The ones I just installed attach to the door itself, and I'm not a big fan of that style...

Flares are on. Fitment is about what I expected for the price, but overall not too bad for $95 ebay cheapos. The fronts still need a little work.

It's too damn hot outside to do anything else with the truck today

I fought with the flares for a while and finally have them at a point where they are acceptable...

At first, I thought the main issue was with the double sided tape they came with. I thought thicker tape would help, so I removed the original stuff and replaced it with a thicker mil double sided tape. This was a mistake, it actually made the gaps worse. So I tried again using a really thin, high strength 3M double sided tape. It seems to be working well, and I used a couple screws under the lip to ensure they stay in place.
