Going to run na for the summer into fall. Then swapping to aftermarket efi and a single turbo.

I was going to ask how long it took to pull dash in and out and wondering if it's because of swapping all the wiring ? I wanted to pull dash on my 96 to deaden inside firewall and give it some audio treatments .

Oh boy.. forgot to update the thread.

In the last week I went off the deep end with this truck.

Ditched the vortec topend and carburetor. Ordered new big port aluminum heads, holley mpfi intake manifold and new turbo manifolds.

Also bought new wheels and had new tires installed at the tire shop two weeks ago.

700whp or bust!

Btw.... I like the new hood on your truck!

So, i've basically given up on the idea of driving the truck NA for the summer.. well... since we're already into August and the truck still needs body work and some suspension work.

I kinda went full retard ordering parts for the turbo build.

Still waiting for the turbo manifolds to show up and the turbo.

I need to take the 4 bolt 880 block down to the machine shop next week for a little work, then I can get back to assembling the engine for the last time (hopefully).

Holley 9901-101-1 with an aluminum 4150 pattern elbow to a 100mm Accufab throttle body.

Autometer for the boost & trans temp, Innovate motorsports for the wideband and New Vintage USA for the instrument cluster.
