Mufflers

What kind of mufflers you guys running so you can still hear your radio? Sound clips or at least links to the sound clips?

I run flows, quiet while cruising but loud when you need it to be.

Super 40's, 44's? What flows?

Super 40 3" single in 2.5" dual out to 4" bells coming straight out the rear. Plus a couple small leaks I need to weld up due to rust lol Sounds perfect IMO other than the light puff puff puff noise of the 2 leaks but that will get fixed soon.

alright. I was considering this muffler but the super 40 is also quiet when you want and loud when you want

I use Flowmaster on all my trucks. Light on the gas, quiet truck; get on it hard, sounds like an old carbed muscle car. Works well for me. Don't use youtube to try to find what you want. Sounds completely different in person.

I've used it to find flowmaster but i agree, they do sound different

get a spintech 6000. i got one and love it. better flowing then the flowmaster too. mine is dumped after the axle and to me just perfect. i can still hear my radio but that may be because its around 600wrms worth of power at my disposal

I'm running a 3" single exhaust system on my 94'. 3" mid-pipe to a 3" Cherry Bomb Glassback (20" Case Length) and exits at a 90* through a 3" tail pipe! Has a nice low rumble at idle and cruising RPM's, and it will scream when you get on the throttle! Here's a video/exhaust clip of my truck!

i run a cherry bomb extreme. it gets loud but isnt that bad when just cruising. it a 3" in dual 2.5" out. tips come out in front of the pass rear tire
