mating a 1998 4l60e to a 99 LM7

I was looking all over the internet and could not find a straight forward answer to my question. Will a 1999 5.3 lm7 bolt up to a 1998 4l60e with a 2 part bell housing and if it will, will I need and crank spacer to make it work.

While i dont know the answer to your question about the spacer i know the bellhousing pattern is the same. I suggest going to the junkyard and find a 4l60e out of 800 and measure the shaft of both your trans and the junkyard trans. That should answer your question

You need a 6.0 flywheel and the spacer and bolts and your good to go.
