6 lug, I'm assuming? I can look locally for you but shipping it would be a lot.

Want to upgrade my rear axle to 9.5". Gears are 3.73. Does anyone have it for a reasonable price?
Do you know what the 9.5" came off of? I'm a complete noob when it comes to rear ends and the make and model it came off of. If you do know, try using www.car-part.com to search local junkyards near you.

The 9.5 SF 6 lug came out of half tons that had RPO F44 or from a light duty 2500.

I think someone on here bought an 8 lug 9.5 SF then swapped in 6 lug axle shafts, but that could be my mind playing tricks on me.

The 6 and 8 lug were the same axle so it's entirely possible somebody did the swap, but it would also require brakes. The 8 lug brakes were much bigger than the 6 lug stuff. I can find them here at the pull and pay for about 125. It's where I got both of mine.

I've posted a couple different times.

Gmt400 trucks have different axle widths between 2wd and 4wd.
The 2wd axle will require a 1.5" spacer.

Square body trucks (81-88) have a 67.5" wheel to wheel width just like gmt400's
This is the same on 2 and 4wd.
The spring perches would need to be welded on in the right location.

ALL of the 8 lug axles can be converted to 6 lug by swapping shafts.

Convert to disk brakes and be done with the drums
