I did beat you to it with several months 
it´s a 25" curved led bar hidden behind the grille, you can barely se it as the light opening in the bar is almost identical to the grill openings. Absolutely no cutting needed on the grille, but the bracket behind it needed some love for it to work.
Its triggered together with the high beams but on a separate relay, the high beams got relays too while I where at it.
