Thanks guys! I have pulled the cluster (along with EVERYTHING from the cab to scrape out the P.O. disease and cleaned and tweaked the terminals for the cluster as well as improved the ground connection. It helped a bunch but I will pull it back out later when I add the charge ports and other electric stuff to the custom console. I had to slam it back in because I had to drive it. I will connect the voltmeter directly to the alternator ground. If it still wants to lie I will redo the positive wire to the battery+ terminal with a relay!
