if you can get the frame up high enough off the rear axle you don't need to take off your rear tires. Luckily when I did my spring bushings I had access to a lift.

Quick question, do most autozone/o Reilly's etc carry a universal U Bolt set up for replacement on our trucks?

Update- got the leafs out and drilled out the bushings- tedious!! I had to remove the tow hitch which wasn't a big deal to get the I bolts out of rear spring... Glad I bought the Cobalt electric impact wrench. Even with a 350lb torque rating, still had to use breaker bar to get the u bolt nuts off- keep you guys posted, thanks to all that helped
