Not sure what your point is but the 1500 could be ordered with the 9.5" 14 bolt. It also had rear leafs similar to the 2500"LD" with the extra leaf, though the overload was a little thinner and shorter than the 2500"LD" spring pack's overload.

Look for RPO F44 on your SPID label

Yep, 4+1 instead of 3+1 that a 1500 gets. The 1500 with F44 has 4+1 as well but as I mentioned the overload appears a bit shorter, at least on the ones I've compared.

Cool information! Did not know that.

I spotted a half-ton at the salvage yard that looked like it has 4 or 5 leafs with a huge spring on top like a one-ton had, forgot what those springs were called. Didn't have a 2500 emblem either, just said 1500 on the door, probably should've looked at the glovebox while I was there.
