Hi guys..
i have a 1995 suburban 6.5 with 8 lug 14sf axle..
here in norway it is a weight rule on the car. over 3500kg it is a truck and nead a special license to drive it.
so many suburbans and tahoes where modified in the numbers and weight to get under/over the maks kg weight.
on my door i have a k1500 logo. but did the suburban 8lug with 6.5 come in k1500 or do i have a k2500 and they have changed the door sticker?
checked the rpo codes and got this weight
GVW RATING 8,050 LBS witch is 3651kg. so it is over the 3500kg limit. but my truck is registered under that limit so they have done something in the numbers here...
and this for axle id.
GU6 AXLE REAR 3.42 RATIO
G80 AXLE POSITRACTION LIMITED SLIP
can you tell from this info if i have a k1500 or a k2500?
