Intermittent wipers

My 96 c3500 delay wipers arent working correctly. When you turn them on the longest delay, they do good
For 2 swipes then speed up to
Less delay. If i turn the switch 1 click up to the next step up on delay they are like they are just turned on low. The low and high speed work normal. What is going bad . Thanks.

A common fix when the wipers start losing there mind is changing the circuit board, if have the delay type wipers. The early original they cheaped on solder board. It's an easy fix. I got mine off Amazon. The circuit board is brain for delay, intermittent .

Yep,just replaced the one on wifey's Burb.Got it from Amazon as well,bought the cheap Dorman part and should last a few years as the last one did,took all of ten minutes to do the job.Think it cost about $17.50 delivered to my door.
