I'm looking for an underhood light, fixed metal not the reel.

Like the title says I'm looking for the fixed metal light secured to the hood that comes on and off as you open and close the hood. I misplaced mine during my move

I put 5 led spot lights under my hood. Option for you uf you dont find the mercury switch light

Damn... That's a nice looking engine bay

One guy used the mercury switch socket and connected a string of LED's via a dummy bulb plugged into the socket. A great blend of old and new and a good way to take advantage of the stock fixture.

Any kind of limit switch mounted in the right location would work

I appreciate the ideas and pictures but I'm looking to replicate the stock look with an LED bulb. My goal is the keep it looking as unmodified as possible even with the 5.3 in there.
