Mine vibrates so bad that it looks blurry, but it don't go crazy over bumps, that's wild

if his is a 97, they make a resistor or something to help fix it. Also how long has this lasted?

Uhh no. You have to unplug that stuff to remove the dash bezel.

Also.. could you just use any type of silicone?

No, you want to use an oil. This stuff is thick, but it won't go solid. Regular silicone will. I've heard of people using 50k and even 100k weight oil, but the 30k works and I can't imagine waiting for the air bubbles to work through anything thicker ha.

I would think dielectric grease is too "*****" due to the additives, the oil needs to be thick but movable so the gauge can function without burning the motor up.
