Wow this was a stupid comment lolIll never haul enough to bend my frame haha, I just want the lift and it not to squat so easy. I plan on a 3/4 ton in a couple years anyway
My 89 K20 with 3500 landing gear under it. Dual wheels on full floating axle last time I hauled with it came off the scales at 16,500. Had a load of mulch on the truck and what was supposed to be 2 yards of stone on the trailer. I think the loader did me a favor with extra stone. Was happy to have a granny gear that day.
Stock suspension? Stock brakes? What did you have on it? Sounds unsafe.Hauled a 30 foot gooseneck from Phoenix to Indy with my 92 single cab 1/2 ton stepside. 4" lift, 35" mud tires and a transplanted TBI 454. Tipped the scales at 15,500 lbs according to the Joplin truck stop.
