Wife wants me to black out 91 Silverado K1500. I'm struggling with it. Not sure how it will look

Is she going wash it and keep it clean?lol
I love my black truck, except having to constantly having to wash it. My truck is garaged and it gets dirty sitting.
Here's a pic of it currently, it needs a bath, but with the winter weather we have been getting. It won't be washed for a bit. Thankfully they don't salt the roads here and we don't have to worry about our stuff rusting out.

IMO

Red black looks dated. (although I like that look).

Blacked out is modern and trendy. If you go this route, negotiate new parts are needed to keep that 2017 trendy look: wheels tire, led light bar, etc etc. Win Win:cheers:

Thanks for the input gentlemen. I am hesitant to black it out but here goes. I will post some pics when she's done. Going to go with grey interio I think.

I say no. Blacked out is a high school fad that most people grow out of. I'm not saying it can't be done tastefully and look good but most of the time, it looks cheap
