Hello all! I’m new here and new to square bodies. Just picked up an 88 v20 suburban. It’s going to be my daily/project. Like to start with the interior exterior and paint then going to build a cummins and m/t swap down the road. I’m coming from a diesel background. Worked on helicopters in the marines then semi trucks and reefer units afterwards. Now I work for Dana and have more time now and all my tools at home!!!! Hoping to learn a lot from here as Chevy and gassers are all new to me. My first big thing is headliner. What’s good cheap alternatives to buying new boards from parts store? Any construction materials that would turn out good that can then be upholstered?
