Might do it if I keep my truck, was wondering if anyone out there has done it. I'm thinking either modifying the stock headers to mount a turbo or finding a set of GMC Syclone\Typhoon manifolds then finding a blow through carb.

You wanna make something differant, by today's standards... the Busch series use to have a class that could only run 4.3 motors. They where carb'd of course but dam they where awesome....

I've seen a few turbo 4.3 builds on here, but I think they were all Vortec engines. Seems like by going with a blow-through carb you'd be leaving a lot on the table.

I know I am a little late. You could try a remote turbo. Place the turbo farther back in the exhaust system so you keep heat out of the engine compartment and can run what ever headers you want.
