The line-x guy said he had done business with our shop and he would cut me a deal. The bed liner was $425. He called me as they were doing the job, and said that, my trucks was very clean, and that they have a coating sealer that he could coat the liner with, so it would not fade. I said how much extra. He said, well it usually an extra $100, but I will do it for an extra $50. I said, so I will owe you $475? he replied, just make it $450 and we will call it good. I thought the job was going to be around $600 or so, and even at the price, I think it would be well worth it, and would have had it done. When he said $425, I said I will have cash, when do you want to do it? I had to give him about a week to get to it, but he came by our shop and picked it up, and dropped it back off after it was finished, and the sealer had dried. He picked it up around 8:00 am, and I had it back around noon. He also called me when he started removing the tape, and the paint started peeling. He was up set, much more than I was. I thought this might happen, so. I told him, it Ok just do what you have to, and I will fix the paint latter. I wish I could have worked on it this weekend, but it never got above freezing today. It may not get above freezing tomorrow, but not for long. Maybe next weekend. It hasn't been this cold in about 10 years here. I had an imitation Rhino liner in my 93 WT. It looked good when they did it, but it was much more like rubber. I went to Home Depot, and bought 2 pallets of floor tile. When they loaded them up, they pushed the pallets in with a fork lift. This peeled up the bed liner. The CO that did the job was out of business, so I was screwed. That will not be an issue with Line-x. Life time warranty as long as I own the truck.
