Going to be running RCX 4 inch. Are shocks worth it?

Going to get RCX 4 inch for my 96 k1500 are the rough country shocks worth a rats a** ? I know they have a "performance" version but would I be better off getting different shocks?

Everything I've heard is that they're not spectacular. I'd go with Bilsteins if I were you.

We've got the the RCX shocks on my son's truck and they are alright. It rides pretty nice with them. We do have tall tires and smaller rims so the tires help our ride. (33's with 15 inch rims)

On my truck, going from the RCX shocks to a set of Bilsteins was like night and day.

Are the front and rears different? Or what is the difference between them?

They are different. Not sure exactly how, just going with the recommended part numbers from eshocks.com
