GMT800 compass and temp rear view mirror in GMT400?

I recently bought a GMT800 mirror, since the 400 rear view mirrors that I’ve seen have only show temp or compass, not both, so got a 800 style mirror where it shows both at the same time. Will I need a temp sensor from a 800 or can I use one from a 400? Thanks!

The sensors are all the same, heck I'm using one from a 99 Blazer lol. GMT400, GMT800, S-Series, they're all the same, even using the same plugs at the sensor.

You think that's good? They used the same window switches from 98-05 in the S-Series trucks that are in the 95+ GMT400 trucks - I can swap so many parts between my 97 Sierra and my 03 Blazer, it's downright hilarious but I love it!

I had to replace exhaust hanger on a 96 corvette and one from 08 corvette was the same style and fit. Small things tend to stay for a while if they work

Visors on a new 14-18 tahoe,burb, silverado use the same wiring connector as the 95-99 visors lol

That's true of every lighted visor in every Chevy since ever lol. At least they didn't fix what wasn't broke in that one case!
