Silverado SS Grills

I'd like to find a grill similar to the Silverado SS parts. I assume these were factory? They were also used on the IMS Official Pace Trucks in 1993. The traditional grill bulges out down the center, but these do not. It looks like perhaps they use the GMC sidemarkers as well? I've looked through this thread but I didn't find them mentioned. A couple image searches for reference:

It looks the same as the 88-93 grille to me, just painted black. The grille with the bulge in the center was introduced in 1994.

Going to be putting a color-matched GMC grille with black billet insert on my truck shortly.
Should clean it up nicely.

Going to be getting rid of the black SS grille shortly.

88-93 Grille - you can get a basecoat grille from Amazon for like $75 and a decal overlay for the emblem for about $10

The gmc does look better, I've been thinking about swapping mine from a Chevy to a gmc one, is it just a straight bolt up or any modifications needed?

I prefer the gen2 grille, then the early square headlight gen1, then the 3rd gen (95+) then lastly, the gmc grill.

Always thought the gmc grille looked like a bad 90's aftermarket grille, too smooth/custom looking, just my opinion.
