Front tow hooks to D-Rings

Hey I was wondering what people have found out there to replace your front tow hooks with d-rings using the stock mounting system?

I've only lever seen custom stuff done to accomplish that. I have a custom crossmember in my truck.

Yea that's what I might have to do I just need to make sure the welds hold...

I was gonna drill holes where the bolts for the stock tow hooks go and bolt it through that then figure something out for the d ring mount

Yea for the d ring mound you could almost drill another hole threw it for the d ring and then cover the open end. I don't know how that would look though. I know you can get d ring mounts you can't most likely weld to the tube but that weld needs to be solid.

Or just buy one for a hitch and drill a hole threw the other side.

I think we have a solution. That solves the length issue too
