I have a 94 K5 Sport with the 5.7 TBI and it's had a pretty bad exhaust leak all winter. I finally got around to climbing under it and taking a look at it and my exhaust manifold flange is rusted to the point where it cracked on one side and the bolt is no longer attached. I can't fix it because it's just too far gone and rusted. My question is if I went with shorties would they bolt up directly to what I already have? I know the 150 dollar eBay specials aren't the best option but that's the same price for new manifolds so I figure why not give it a shot?

I got a set of JBA direct fit stainless shorties and I freaking love them. No issues whatsoever.

I have Summit shorties. They are a direct bolt in. The only thing I had to do was move the oil dipstick.
