dually tire sizes?

235's and 265's are the same height. I ran 235's in the rear and 265's in the front for awhile and I used 4wd many times without issues.

I think I read you post that in another thread at some point. 235s seem to be a bit cheaper than the 265s.

265/??/16.
I also have a 4x4 K3500, except mines a '94 extended cab.

235s and 265s aren't the same height if the aspect ratio (second number) is the same, because that number is a percentage of the first. Tread width, aspect ratio, wheel diameter. A transfer case can deal with a small amount of difference without an issue, but if they gets too far apart you'll have problems.

The 255/85s you're going to are an inch and a half larger in diameter than the 265/75s you have now.
