Does this alternator fit on our trucks?

I can't speak for other trucks because I simply don't know but when I upgraded to the 140 amp alternator I found it noticeably larger,both in diameter and depth.I had to bend and grind some(with a Black & Decker dremel,great tool BTW) on the mounting bracket to make it fit.It also took a longer belt,1'' IIRC.Not sure if it makes a difference but this is on a '95 454.A large crescent wrench made the bending easier.

AD244 is almost plug and play with the Vortec trucks. A slightly longer belt and some minor bending of aluminum heater hose tube behind the alternator were all that was needed to install it.

Ended up missing the deal, so will do a bit more research and pull mine off to see what's already on there.
