I found a 1989 3/4 ton a guy is parting out. I bought the fenders and wheel wells, front bumper with brackets, front grille, and the interior trim pieces that go around the cab as spares.

What I I want to do is buy the front spindles brake components complete assemblies and complete rear axle for the option of using 6 bolt wheels. Just a wide array of wheel options. He's got some steel 17s on it.
Not to mention to get rid of the weaker 10 bolt.

The 10 bolt I currently have has been rebuilt with new bearings, 4:10 gears and Auburn locker. Is it worth the swap? The guy will let the whole axle and front spindles/brake components for 525. The spindles should bolt on to the ball joints

I'm not doing it to have a higher cargo/tow capacity.
