Nothing like coming from being gone for 2 weeks and having a dead battery.

Where'd you get those kickass rims on your GMT400? Looks like twins to your 2014+ truck.

Started building the '98 a new heart this weekend. And sandblasted and repainted the wiper arms.

Wow, those wiper arms look so much better! :waytogo: How would you go about removing them? Now I am thinking about painting mine after I saw that pic.

There is a little tab near the base that you pull to get them off. you have to pull the arm up first and then slide the tab outward. I will try to get some better pictures today. I sprayed the last coat of clear on them as I walked out the door this morning for work.

Anybody ever have to adjust the wiper arms so that they stop closer to the bottom of the windshield when turned off? Mine seem like they're a notch too high. The driver's side even goes all the way to the seal on the glass at the top of the stroke. Is there a way to adjust that?

^^Mine too!^^ I wish there was a fix for that. Both my wipers are too high.

Should just be able to pull it, rotate whichever direction and re spline it.

Pull the black cowl at the base of the wipers off. There will be 4 bolts (2 per arm). Loosen those and adjust the arms resting position then retighten. I never could get them good enough but that is a way to adjust them
