Dealership said $250 to do rear brake job. Is that average cost? Was going to let them do it so they can bleed the brake system and abs module with the computer??!!! Do that sound correct. Any info is appreciated. May look into a disc swap any info on that is appreciated also.

For a dealership, that sounds low, honestly. What does it include?

You do need a good scan tool to bleed the ABS unit. It should be followed by a normal brake bleed at the four corners.

If they are replacing the wheel cylinders too that is a fair price. Rear brake parts are not expensive and it gives them 1 1/2 hrs. labor which is about right. I think rear disc. conversions are way over rated as the rear only does 30% of braking and the park brake on drums is far less trouble.

I think that includes the wheel cylinders. That's them turning the drums but they said I can bring new drums in if I want.
