How do I know "if mine is the same as the 2wd? What's the difference. Don't think I'm understanding what you're getting at.

Are your bottom ball joints pressed in or riveted in? If they are riveted in, you will probably want to take the lower control arms off while you work on getting the old ball joints off.

Now what that has to do with motor mounts, idk.

Ya, that's what I was wondering about - the motor mounts. I assume he means that they are much easier to do with them off.

pressed or riveted......jeez am i suppose to feel lucky or what...mine are welded. original factory which im bout to attempt to change out lol. btw, anyone know what size the nut is that holds the pitman arm to the shaft? need to know so i can go buy the right wrench. bought everything to replace my front end today.

Get a large adjustable wrench. Thats what I used.
