Hello! My name is Dave and I'm a mechanical enthusiast interested in anything with an engine on it and some things without. My interest in this field consumes my personal and professional lives. A coworker referred me to this forum and I will be asking for help with a new project of mine.

I recently bought a 1996 C3500 crew cab long bed pickup with 5.7l and 4L80 4wd that is in rough shape. I'm looking to build this truck to be a custom road tripping machine and will be posting more soon to ask about powertrains.
