car guage pro app for android (cam retard pid)

Does any one know which pid to use on car guage pro app? There is 2: cam* and cam**. The readings are different. I don't which one to go by to set the distributor. I looked everywhere and even tried emailing the apps developer and no one seems to have answered this question. All I found was people asking the same question. I'm very surprised since this app has gotten so many good reviews because it has the cam retard pid for gm vortecs and many people have used it. Maybe someone here has used it and can tell me which one to use. My only other option is to find someone with a good running vortec and use the car guage pro to see which pid is reading within spec.
