I used rubber expansion aka well nuts. No tools required.
I used the screws that came with the kit and haven't had any problems
Thanks for the help guys. Got the lights on. Just gotta finish the final wiring and put the head liner back up. Ill post pics up!
i did the same kit as you, i got the rubber nuts but decided to get the rivnuts and tool. got it at napa for like $120, and had a friend get me like 40 nuts, kit only comes with like 10. tool worked great, and used steel nuts, the harbor freight one sucks and only does aluminum. its a good tool to have, i have already used in my bed to mount an electrical junction box.
i put the pacer kit on my cab and cap. even spaced them and had to mount alittle higher than stock because of visor on my truck. oh and that pic is with the led lights 88gmctruck is selling on here!
^^^ i just got my leds from 88gmctruck. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
Looking good guys!
sweet! looks great!
Thinking about doing cab lights on my k1500 '97, i was wondering if this kit (http://m.summitracing.com/parts/ppp-20-220s) is a good kit? I also want to get one of those rear clearence light bar that sits below the tailgate, but i can't seem to find any on summit... Being that i live in sweden makes it kinda difficult to order from the US. Many companies wont ship to sweden, and the shipping+taxes on these cablights is like 65$...
Those are the same ones I got. I love them
