I have a 1996 Chevy k1500 with ABS. Today when coming to a stop downhill (it had also rained the night before) the pedal felt like it lost pressure then found it again (you could say it slipped and went forward like there was no pressure then it gained pressure again). It stopped fine since and hasn't happened again.
A week or so earlier the ABS light came on after I had pulled into a parking spot and was sitting there with the truck running and the vehicle stopped, with my foot on the brake.
Also since I have had the truck there has always been a shudder in the pedal when I am coming to a stop especially around 40-50 mph or so. I was thinking warped rotors. I had the rear drums and wheel cylinders serviced when I bought the vehicle.
What is y'all's take on all this.
