backspacing

how much backspacing should i look for if i'm going with 16x8's on my 285s with no lift? cause i rather it not rub

I just ordered a set of 16x8's but im planning on running 265's. The rims I ordered have 4" of backspacing. I'm hoping they dont rub as well. But I honestly think you will be fine with the 4" if you decided to go that route like I did.

yea thats about the amount i was looking at but i'm running 285's which can change things. you should have no problem rubbing though. just need to upgrade to a wider rim so my tires don't have that "bubble" look to them. they don't much now but i think they would look better on a wider rim

Try to stick with close to stock back spacing, 5-5.5"
