Back wheels locking up

OK guys I have a 97 k1500 5.0 extended cab and if I pull out of my driveway and turn the wheels sharp the back tires like lock up and don't wanna turn. If I'm going in a straight line it's fine till I I make a sharp turn. It's like they skip if I'm completely stopped but if I give it enough gas the will slowly start turning? Rear end?

Does this in reverse too, it shifts fine and engine is running good also.

If you have the G80 rear Maybe the rear diff is locked and won't release
