Did you try letting air out? Sounds like your tires were over inflated.

they were never aired up over 32-35, they were 12.5" tires on a 6.5" wide stock rim, they should be on at least an 8" rim is what was suggested, and they were TSL's that were driven on the road, any swamper driven on the road is gonna wear

Thanks. Only problem is I have a horrible death wobble with the rims and tires on. Anybody have any suggestions?

Make sure all your front end parts are good. But it's probably just the Super Swampers. You could try balance beads.

Yeah, everything is actually pretty tight on the front end and there's no play in the steering wheel. When I got the rims and tires the po tried having them balanced with weights and there are huge amount of them in some places.

How do balance beads work?

It just beads you put in your tires. You put a certain weight for the size tire you have and it balances them. I've heard of ppl using golf balls, sand and BB's. There's a chart on dynabead.com you can get the weight you need and try it yourself.
