Anyone have trouble from your stock brake system after going to oversized tires? I'm going from stock 265/70-16 to 285/75-16.

I run 33 x 12.5 and I didn't notice any difference in braking capabilities.

It's the weight difference you'll notice but at the small change in tire size there won't be much and probably unnoticeable.

I have 315/75/16s and was towing a car trailer that's brakes weren't working and I had enough brakes to bring that all to a stop in a hurry. Not something I enjoyed doing, but I was surprised how well it did.

Ya you gotta figure the trucks were meant to haul x amount of pounds so upping your tire size a lil bit your still in the range of what your brakes can do. I am sure eventually if you get too big it becomes a problem.
